Ok so it’s officially a go! Every year I like to do something to help out and give something back to the community and it was decided that the charity of choice for 2012 is the excellent Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
The requirements are:
So far I have secured 12 absolutely stunning models from a casting at www.purestorm.com all of whom are very excited to be part of his wonderful project. I now need, however, a calendar supplier or local business to help with the cost of the calendar printing in order to maximise the profit to make this fundraising a complete success.
I reading this blog post you know a local company who would (a) like to do something for the greater good and (b) have their logo put onto the calendar and all of the publicity which goes along with it – including press releases then please please please get in touch ASAP.
We’re also chewing over a few big ideas… Once again if you have something you’d like to see or just have an original idea please let me know.
For bride and grooms looking for truly an extra special mode of transport on the best day of their life take a look at www.hcdchauffeurdrive.com. Paul and the team have over 100 vehicles in their fleet so whether you are looking contemporary, modern, stylish, traditional then check out their website.
Great news!
Just learnt that our wedding album supplier has reduced the price of their luxury Bellisimo Perfetto albums – the great news for current bride and grooms is that we will be reducing the cost of all wedding packages!
Don’t worry, f you have already booked then you’ll get all of the benefits too!!
Every year I love to give something back to the community and this year LPS Photographic is supporting Scotty’s Little Soldiers right here in Norfolk.
Scotty’s Little Soldiers http://www.scottyslittlesoldiers.co.uk is dedicated to supporting the children of men and women killed whilst serving in the British Armed Forces.
Army Widow Nikki Scott set up the charity in August 2010 to help the children our fallen heroes leave behind after her own husband Corporal Lee Scott was sadly killed in Afghanistan in July 2009 leaving behind her and their two young children.
To this end we will be arranging, shooting and compiling a special calendar for 2013 with all profits to Scotty’s Little Soldiers. I really want to make this as worthwhile as possible by cutting down on calendar printing costs if possible so if you know of any local businesses who’d like to get on board this project please contact me at info@lpsphotographic.co.uk – I’m sure there’s a lot to offer and loads to give!
A few images of Cardiff taken late last night as part of my South Wales at Night series I’ve been working on for the past few years… the other are on my Flickr photostream at the link on the right.
I’d like to raise some money for the help of a specific South Wales Charity.. If you have any close to your heart please post a comment specifying the details…
